HERE IT IS OCTOBER

Well here we are in October already , boy does this year seem to be going by quickly,
And i have started my Christmas shopping, but still have lots more to get'

Just had a very pleasant visit from Tony, who came down on Thursday of last week and stayed till today Monday.

He did quite a few jobs in the garden for me , as well as helped clean the filters in my pond.

And now Jayde and myself are back on our own again , but never mind we will survive,.

surprise visit

Well on Thursday afternoon I had a lovely surprise visit from my eldest son Patrick , he brought his daughter Molly and her little boy Riley ( my Grandaughter & Great grandson , I love it when they come down , and considering Riley is only just 2 years ald and has only seen me about 4 times, he was not shy at all, and we had some lovely cuddle's , and oh what a fantastic chuckle he has got ( reminded me of his Grandad when he was that age Patrick had a wicked little chuckle ), and yes I can still hear his chuckle even though he is 58 in November ( some things a Mum never forgets ).

I went out with friends Ann and Harry last night as it was Harry;s Birthday , and I enjoyed my meal very much , we came back to my place for tea and coffee and a bit more chat, and that rounded of a lovely evening.

Have not been out today as I had a very-very bad night last night , and I was to tired, so did some more knitting, and listened to my music, also looked up a singer called Leroy Van Dyke , he sung The Auctioneer's song , and it reminded me of my Dad as he was always going to Auctions (bless him ), he would have been 100 this year and my Mum would have been 97 in December, and I still miss them very much .

Outing To Sidmouth

Well here we are nearly at the end of another month , and another month nearer Christmas Aahhh,

Went out with friends today to Sidmouth haven't been there for some time , brought myself a second hand corner Glass Cabinet , and i am getting it delivered on Monday / Tuesday , can't wait to fill it with the ornaments that i have left from my clear out.
my little dog Jayde-Bramblerose will be 9 on 3rd September , i can't believe i have had her that long ( bless her ) , she has the groomer coming on Tuesday and i have asked her to give her a short hair cut, and Jayde does not like the electric trimmer  so we wont be her best friend on Tuesday , but she will soon get over it when she gets her treat .

Shopping today

Today I went to Exeter with Ann and Harry to get a few things , we had coffee at Wilko's , while in Wilko's I got 3 picture frames and some wall paper as well as Dog food for Jayde .

Ann is going to help me put some photo;s in the frames I got so as I can display them without having photo frames all over the place  , as I don't have any cupboards for photo's to sit on any more , so on the wall they will hang when we get round to doing it.

More Sorting Out

Here it is Saturday and Ann came round to give me more help on my sorting out, my god I never reallised just how much rubbish that I have gathered in the six years that I have been here , and its surprising what you find that you have lost as well  and you think to yourself ( iI wondered where that went to ) :) , and thank goodness for large suitcases that we don't use , as they come in handy for storing important papers etc in.
I will say both Ann and myself are shattered now , and there is still more stuff to sort out , but we are not doing any more today.

Did washing today to and have not put it out ( well it can wait till tomorrow ) as it is 4-30pm so it won't dry today ( lets hope it don't rain tomorrow ) .

Now I will have to think what I can have for my tea ( think it could be sausages ) as they are easy to cook with a few chips and a mousse for pudding .

I also found some lovely 50's/&  60's songs that I had misplaced and there are some really good one's like Mario Lanza /Jonnie Ray / Dean Martin , they might not be every one's cup of tea but they are my cup of tea., so I am listening to them right now ( aah bliss all those memories ) :) .

Sorting Out Morning

My friend Ann came round this morning to help me sort out some of my ornaments that i no longer want, but i will not let my very sentimental ornaments go as i treasure those from friends and family, but i want a new corner glass cabinet with glass on three sides , so we are going to town tomorrow to see if i can get one .
Also turned out my little dog ( Jayde's ) toy box, as she did not play with many of them , and bless her she sat and watched me do it , if she jumped up at a toy i would let her keep it, i got a black bag full and she still has loads more .
Went over the center this afternoon for our craft afternoon and i ( fell asleep ) i have never done that before, and the girls let me sleep ( probably thought poor old thing she needs her sleep ) :) , i only slept for about 15 minutes just enough to recharge my batteries , :) .

TRYING TO FIND OLD BLOG SPOT

Well today i went to my usual Quiz , but i did not win :( but never mind ) i enjoyed my little self, I should have gone shopping this afternoon but i didn't , there was something wrong with the car, so i just went to our local shop for a couple of bits.
And all afternoon i have been searching for my old Blog spot to see if i could get some old information up from 2004, but seeing as i could not remember what i called it i could not find it, any way when i put my email address in my last blog spot name came up, but there is still no blogs on it from way back, so i thought i would have a new name and start all over again :).
